Students' Participation

Undergraduate and postgraduate students, within and without Edinburgh, actively take part in all our events and activities, from the seminars to the game nights/jams, the ad hoc events, and the in-house game design productions, including as authors. From time to time we also embed gaming in undergraduate and postgraduate courses (see the image below).

Students have representatives in the steering committee of the H&GL.

We also encourage and support applications to the University of Edinburgh Student Experience Grants, which are one-off contributions to projects and initiatives that enhance students’ social, academic, entrepreneurial, sporting or cultural development.
